Currently July!

I can't believe it's already July! Time is really flying. Luckily I was able to relax a little in June (besides grad school!). This month seems like its going to be a bit busier for sure. So linking up with Farley do this month's currently..

Listening

I tend to wake up early with my boyfriend as he gets ready for work. TV choices are kinda slim this early so we usually watch a few episodes of 70's show :)

Loving

I am loving that I still have this full month of summer to be a little lazy. Now of course I have Vegas and some county PDs to attend I'm technically I'm still free! Lol which means naps whenever I want!

Thinking

I have mentioned often how I'm in grad school and I just want to say no one warned me about the length of these classes! 3 and 4 hour classes take some getting used to man!

Wanting

I wouldn't mind grabbing a few more cute dresses our outfits before Vegas. I've been all over blogs looking at what other teachers are bringing.

Needing

Since I haven't shopped yet I'm using that as an excuse to hold off on packing. Really I'm just not sure what all I want to bring  yet and I don't want to overpack..but I probably still will :)

All ⭐

I am always straightening up and organizing things around my house and classroom. I wouldn't do it as a job or anything but I am pretty decent at keeping things in order. ( I blame that on being an army brat lol)

June's Currently!

I was so excited to see Farley post the new Currently! I look forward to them and I didn't get time to link up last month so here goes...

 

Listening & Loving

Since I'm currently on break I am enjoying my lazy time around the house. I've had the occasional appointment or studying for summer classes but overall I have been wearing a dent into the couch lol. So I make sure to do at least one productive thing around the house, like dishes, so I can head back to being a bum!

 

Thinking

I've been thinking about how to surprise my lovely mother for her 50th birthday! My Dad and I are trying to be sneaky and plan something but my mom keeps changing her mind about what she wants to do!

 

Wanting

I ordered a fancy new desk from Wayfair but I could tell just from the weight of the box that I will probably need some assistance and Mr. Handsome doesn't have summers off like me. I'm debating getting started on my own, I'm usually pretty good with those types of things but I can imagine him coming home to me surrounded by 27 random desk pieces lol

 

Needing

I'm taking 3 classes this summer and one of them meets tomorrow (for 4 hours!!! gahh). I need to read about 3 more chapters before tomorrow. I have plenty of time but NO motivation right now.

 

Summer Loving

I loveeee being able to sleep in! I can' wait to update my TPT store with new products and such. And some interesting travel opportunities are coming my way! I'll be sharing more about that later...

April's Currently and my Disney Spring Break :)

Well this was supposed to be a book study post since I've been the worst at keeping up with them lately. But see what had happened was...(lol) I read up to Chapter 8 and noticed today's post was about 9 and 10. I'll catch back up...just wont be right this second!  So instead I'll do one of my favorite linkys, Currently by Farley

To good ol Saturday morning cartoons. I am so thankful to be home on the couch with my little family drinking coffee and enjoying this last little bit of Spring Break.

 

Loving:

The weather is amazing outside lately. I thought I'd be instantly missing Florida weather but TN has given me a pretty decent welcome back (not counting the pouring rain last night)

 

Thinking:

About how hard it will be to wake up Monday. This break has been amazing but Monday is creeping around the corner. Lately I've been trying to rid myself of the "Oh Crap it's Monday" syndrome, its all about perception people! But this Monday may be a slight exception lol

 

Wanting:

To go back to Disney!!!! Omg it is truly a magical place! I had the greatest time. And I have already decided I willlllll be back!

 

 

 

 

Needing:

To do some lesson plans eventually...just not that motivated yet!

 

Eggs-plain my name:

I have always taught 1st grade (currently in my 3rd year). Even when I student taught I knew 1st grade was my favorite. I want to experience other grades eventually but 1st is where my heart is!

It's February! Yay!!

I absolutely love this month! Valentine's Day means I get an excuse to make just about everything pink and put hearts on it (score!). My birthday is on the 17th! (turning the big 2-5!). And we always get a day off for Presidents Day. Plus this year I'll be making a trip to meet my new godson in person!!

So of course we are currently watching the Super Bowl and eating wings and nachos! It's only right. But truly here in a second I'm gonna paint my nails and then dive back into this book. I've been reading Gone Girl and so far I loveee it.

What the whattt?! It's November?

Well it's a new month and that means a cute new "Currently" layout from Farley ! And since I'm randomly still up watching tv why not get in (somewhat) early right? So here goes..

that the Halloween madness is done! I wasn't in much of a Halloween mood this year although I did dress up with my team. I would have been just fine sitting on the couch watching scary movies. We had a school trunk or treat, a class party...I'm ready to get back to business as usual!

about how quickly time is flying by. It is already November meaning only two months left in the year 2014. I can't believe it. It's been fun so far but I wonder what these last few weeks will hold.

some black boots that are comfy enough for work but I have no idea where to find any. Suggestions are welcomed!

some good ol family time! I miss my parents and I'm so grateful that my dad is retired and home now. I can't wait to see them over the holidays!

Oh my goodness its September!! What the what?! Well I thought I'd link up with Farley  for her awesome "Currently" linky before it gets into the thousands haha! Such a fun concept and its cool to see so many teachers linking up. :)

 

Listening to the lovely cooking channel early this am. My boyfriend is such a foodie and this weekend he got some new spices. He's been talking about food constantly for the last 3 days at least!  (I asked him if he was pregnant hahaha)

 

Loving that today is Labor Day and that means no school! I thoroughly enjoyed sleeping in til 8:30 this morning. And this cup of coffee just tastes sweeter than usual. :)

 

Thinking about this homework I'm dreading. I've been putting of this statistics for the whole weekend but it's time to knock it out so I can stop worrying about it!

 

Wanting to go shopping but I figure that can be my reward if I get all this homework done. That's fair right?

 

Needing a few groceries for the week especially since I pack my lunch daily. Just not a fan of cafeteria food. Got any lunch favorites to suggest? I'm picky but always open to ideas. Spaghettios get old after a while haha

 

3 Trips (1) Orlando - We just got a great deal from HH to book a trip to Orlando. We've been thinking about going for Fall Break. (2) I've always wanted to go to the Bahamas and now a colleague is getting married there next summer so I may be making the trip! (3) New York has been on my list since I was young and obsessed with musicals. I'd love to go and shop and see a good show. Gotta keep feeding the piggy bank!
